Records Not Excusses was the brainchild of Velvetine Wah Fontaine and Poppa Silky. Created in '97 when we where unfortunate enough to lose loved ones. Our famalies members, Who where generous in life as well as in passing... We decided that they would want us to pursue our dreams, Owning a record lable was part of our dreams, but putting out our own band was the whole dream. After putting out our friends (Noisome Faugh / Flight 800) 7" that's exactly what we did. In time we gained distributors & for everyone who sent demo's we listned to them all liked most of them.
